Tim Bunton, 33, is a native of North Carolina. As a boy, Tim’s grandfather, a local woodcarver, trained him in classic wildlife woodcarving. As Tim developed as a sculptor he taught himself to carve stone and then expanded his interests to include bronze, clay and polymers. His work can be seen in galleries and public places across the country. Tim graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, with minors in Art and Asian Humanities. He then attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Tim is currently completing his medical residency in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
